Question Street Glide Air Shock Adjustment?

Going to take a cross country ride on my new 08 street glide. I'm taking my fiance, multi-fit luggage, and packing the saddlebags full. I'm wondering if anyone suggests upping the amount of air in the rear shock? It can go up to 30psi. The guy at the shop suggested to fill it up full. Anyone used the adjustment, or have suggestions?

Yes, fill it all the way up, that will give you the best ride fully loaded.

I would start with it full up. I would, however, take your HD air pump and do some adjusting as you go. You may find that full may be pretty harsh.....especially on your passenger.............on a side note: I admire your fiance if she is ridin cross country on a stock SG passenger seat...............

She's admirable in general, but I've got the deluxe seat. Much more plush.
