I have a black pearl street glide and I am on the fence about putting a black front end (fork lowers, slider covers and that part under the fairing). In the sun the paint almost looks grey and I am not sure if a black front end would clash with that or not. Opinions?? Pics?
If the bike was black this would be a easy decision.
I don't have a picture of a black front end to show you, but here's a pic of a chrome front end on my black pearl SG. Just in case you're considering chrome.
DO NOT PUT ON BLACK FRONT END!!!! It surely would clash.....Leave it as is, or go chrome. I also have a Black Pearl SG...nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing matches up with Black Pearl, but Black Pearl, or Chrome.
WE HAVE A UNIQUE BIKE.............. I'm sure you've seen how it changes colors under different sun light angles????? It could be green, brown, etc...SO a black front in would look awful....
You are probably right which is why I can't decide because depending on the light it looks different, maybe I will just put the money in motor upgrades.
Ain't your Frame black? Guess that clashes with your unique bike as well?

The featured street glide in the gallery on HD.com website is black pearl with blacked-out front end. I have no idea how to post that picture here, but take a look. Looks like someone at HD must have thought that combination looked good. I personally have no opinion.
