Default Elite 3's

This past Monday I had my original tires (that had over 14k on them) replaced with Dunlop Elite 3's.

The front tire had alot of thread left but I wanted the same tire front and back so I opted to do both.

I rode over 1000 miles this week and I have to say the Elite 3's really feel great. They grip the road and are really good on grooved pavement, tar snakes, and steel deck bridges.

I even had the chance to ride them on wet roads and they handled like a champ. I highly recommend them to anyone needing to replace their tires.

You will continue to be impressed and enjoy the upgrade as you ride in all sorts of conditions, including the rain, and then realize that you are getting more miles out of these tires than you did on the OEM's. Welcome to "the club..."

I like the positive responses about the tires, i would like them better in white walls. I wrote to dunlop and ask them why only in blackwalls....this is what they said......Rick,Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your Dunlop motorcycletire questions. The Dunlop Elite 3 is available in blackwall only so as toreduce the complexity in our manufacturing location.

Love the changeover to Elite 3's from the Stock D402's on my 08 FLHT .. Even though did it when had 10K and plenty of tread left was well worth the switch..

I'm with bikerick on this one......

I love what I'm hearing about the tires but I really like the nostalgic look of the wide whitewalls on my RKC.

Decisions, decisions... That time will come in a few more thousand miles.
