Picking up my new Road Glide today and Im struggling with windshield and windshield chrome trim choices. HD and Kury is the only chrome trim I can find to fit the Roadie. Not crazy about the HD piece as i think may be a bit too wide. Never seen the Kury trim except on their website. Windshield choices seem to be confusing also. Any thoughts from you Road Glide owners what is the best combo of trim and shield for fitment and a clean look. Any feedback will be appreciated.
Someone started a thread on here for RG riders a while back to post their height and inseam along with windshield so people could see what similar sized people were riding with. You should be able to search and find it.
Clearview +1.5, best windshield I have owned for my RG's hands down.
I've tried both windshield trims, didn't like either. Too LOUD and BRIGHT on my black RG's,
they looked OK on colored and chromed rides though. Mine got jambed full of bugs under them too. There are gaps.
I have the HD chrome trim and the KW 12" windscreen. Am very happy with both. Only thing I did for the chrome trim piece is change the velcro that hold on the roadglide emblem in the center.
I went with the 7" HD CVO windshield for the Road Glide. Looks great on my black bike and has trim molded into it from the factory. Reasonably priced too.

+1, I am 6'3" tall with a 36 inseam. I went thru about 5 shields and couldn't find one that gave me the looks and protections I wanted. I still get some wind but not bad, I actually like a little bit. I can also hear my stereo good and I have the looks and added downforce the KW provides.
I would suggest you find the correct shield for you first (you may end up trying several) and than determine which chrome trim piece to buy later. Some people have issues with the chrome trim matching some of the shields due to the unique bends the different shields have.

What part of the world are you in? I have an extra KW shield to loan out if you are in the Phoenix area. I ended up doing a CB euro. I suggest trying a few if you get the offer.
