What kind of carb would be recomened for an 82 FLH Classic. It's a Shovel with a mild cam and flat tops-board .020 and true duels, with a 4 speed tranny. The new H.D. replacement I installed before the mods is'nt doing the old girl justice. All suggestions and performance gains I would see with that carb would be great. Thanks

What about Modifying the standard Keihin carburetor by boring to 40mm (1.575"). You can also use a 185 main jet and a 100 idle jet?

I haven't had much luck playing with carb's in the past. So I figure by the time I pay someone else to do it I could have bought a more reliable perfomance one. But you never know I could get lucky.
