What alarm setting do you use when securing your bike?

Medium. It doesn't go off if someone touches it or bumps it. If the bars move it will. If its sat on it will. I park in downtown SF daily, so I know its gonna get touched by other riders when getting off their bikes.

It's a context related question: For instance, I live in Florida and know about every square inch of her, and because I know her, when I go to South Florida for a Ft. Lauderdale/Miami visit, I set my system high no questions asked. If I'm practically anywhere else in Florida, except Orlando, I keep a medium setting. There are "extreme" places in every State that are so full of ***** that you just have to turn on every sense and alert possible whether figuratively or literally. Then again, if you've never lived in South Florida or similar area...no matter where, and you're not "experienced" in that way, then having an alarm at all could be seen as over doing it. It's a context related answer, then, that answers the question. ...There are those times, you know what I'm talkin' about people, when you just have to park your bike in the bottom-floor hotel room...but I'm just sayin'.

Easy ridin',

I have mine set on high but I it still takes a bit to set it off. I've gone into my tour kit, and it didn't peep until I sat on the seat. I can bump it and it will chrip. Would like to get it a bit more sensitive.

Mine is set to 12v. When someone turns the ignition on while alarm is engaged, the battery pumps full amps to the ign. switch and frys the as*hole that sitting on my bike!

If my bike is going to be out of sight or I cannot get to it very quickly always set the alarm
