You are right. That passenger didn't complain, even on the Mustang seat in that pic.

She doesn't complain either...

Hey, like the seat. Got some questions:

1. I installed the George Anderson tour pack extender on mine and there is a larger-than-normal gap between the back of my Mustang Regal seat and the back pad. You can see the fender through the hole. Would this seat close that gap a bit?

2. Was it hard to wire up during the installation?

3. Are you going to do a backrest with it? If so, what are you getting?

Thanks very much for the thread. I wasn't about to drop this kind of money without some sort of feeling for whether it was worth it or not.

1. It is closer to the screw hole on the fender, or actually it sits up higher then stock, so it closes the gap about 1/4" on mine between the tourpack and the seat... I know this because I can't get the screwdriver in there anymore.

2. It's plug and play on my 09. The hardest part was finding the accessory plug on my bike under the seat.

3. I have a HD standard on mine and it works. Be forewarned, have to take that off when my wife rides pillion... I would suggest one of the SVO backrests maybe, they are smaller and thinner... gives back support, but more room for passenger.

On another note. IF you have an 09, the frame where it is bolted together under the seat, will cut into the new HD Road Zeppelin seat and put holes in the vinyl covering... Need to put something on the frame or seat to prevent this. I used carpet, and the original poster used velcro I think.

you are correct on #2.

I have the non-adj. Hd backrest and it appears to work just fine. May need to bend the legs just a tad more.

There is quite a gap between the main seat and the pillion. Can see the fender thru the gap.

I understand that the seat is wider in the butt area but how about the horn area, especially where your legs go down to the boards, is that wider also?

Hey, does anyone know if the Mustang adjustable backrest will work with the Zeppelin seat???
