Just installed a PC-V on a 08 StreetGlide with ABS. I had to remove the ecm tray and cut a old mouse pad to put on top the battery. I then put all the connectors and PC-V on top of the battery. I did this because there is NO room to put the ecm connector in front of the battery. Ok...now for the question...When I went to put the 02 eliminators on the 02 sensors they had already been disconnected and plugged with another type of plug. When I brought the bike the buyer said that it already had the stage 1 download and stage 1 a/c. I hade a HD dealer install a set of Monster Ovals and V&H Dresser Duals. Everything seem to run fine...but a slight decrease in low end torque. Is it possilbe for your bike to run fine without the 02 sensors connected and do you have to use the 02 eliminators from Fuel Moto. The PC-V gave me that low end back and heat from the exhaust. Thanks for your help as always.
Do these other connectors to the o2's have a wiring harness that go some place? Or just to some ended connectors?
As for placing any thing on the battery or over it, I would highly recommend against it. The seat rests on the battery and any wire will eventually grind though something sharp and ground out an possibly start a fire and burn you @$$ up. Don't ask me how I know.
Looks like the connectors are not connected to anything else..they are completely disconnected. When the ecm tray was removed it leaves enough room and the seat seems not to be touching the ecm unit or PC-V.
