Default Tuning Question..HELLLPPPP

New to this forum but am hoping to get some advice. I have a 2007 Road King Custom that I purchased from a private party. The original owner added the power commander and rinehart pipes. The bike runs good for the most part but has a dead spot in the throttle in certain places. If I am taking an exit off of the freeway and downshift when I twist the throttle I get a little stutter or flat spot and then it takes right off. I have had it to a local shop that has always treated me well and done good work but can't get this fixed. They have dynoed it for me and say it is "fixed" but I still have the problem. I also get a little stutter once in a while when taking off from a stop. I am assuming it is a tuning problem...bike runs great other than this. It cruises at highway speeds, idles and runs great otherwise. This is my first fuel injected bike and it just doesn't feel right. Any advice would be great.
Thanks!

Find another dyno tuner. No really. You seem to be describing a fuel delivery problem. The ems or for you the pc controls this.
Some options may be 1) contact fuelmoto let them know your set up and ask for map recomendations. 2) ask the forum members for map recomendations 3) find a shop that understands and can adjust your pc.
As a long shot try running something like Marvel mystery oil through the gas, really. If by chance it is carbon build or a dirty injector this will help clean.

OK...Assuming there's nothing mechanically wrong, I'll show you how I tackled a similar issue.

Typically, a hesitation is caused by a lack of fuel when needed. By adding some fuel on the "low end", there's a good chance you'll solve your problem.

1) Connect your PCIII / Hook up your bike to a PC or laptop.
2) Open Power commander software, and note the first column.
3) You need to raise the values a bit (about 5%) in the first two columns (0 and 5), from rows 1000 - 2000rpm. That range is typically where your throttle is, when your problem seems to occur.

Also, while the bike hooked up, give a few revs, and note where the bike "pops" or backfires. Give a little more fuel in those areas as well.
Fir example....A slight rev might show that you get some popping at 0% throttle @ 2500 rpms. It's at that point, where you add some fuel.

Try it. See what happens, but make sure you SAVE you current map, before making any changes.
