Is it difficult getting use to the front fairing not turning?
If you are looking at your fairing or front wheel as you turn, you are looking at the wrong place.
In addition to the RG, I have a Deuce. No problem going back and forth. No problem learning to ride the RG. Both bikes are great for what they are intended to do.
Bull, I don't know about you but when I am making slow turns I can still see the front of my bike. Even though I am not looking at it, you know that thing called your peripheral vision.

That may be true, but that's not where you're supossed to be looking. Any proffesional style instructor or instruction video tell you to "look where you're going".
Ask any motor cop.
When I 1st saw the RG's I too thought man what an UGLY bike,I told my bud who would buy one of those. I went to Cali, and low and behold my brother-in-law had an 05 black cherry RG. I rode my VTX next to him for about 10days and got to really see the bike, and it started to look good to me. When I went to look at the one I have now,the sales lady said your either a RG person or not,but if you like it you will never want another model. I thought what a sales pitch. She threw me the key and go ride. I was hooked. I came back and they really made me a good deal. Four days before the 09's hit the floor they wanted the 08's gone. I also got a three year service package for 1/2 price,an extra year warranty for 1/2 off, threw in the rider back rest with luggage rack and a $100 gift card. Plus shirts and caps gremlin bells of my choice.I am happy with the deal and the bike, the only bike I ever want is the RG.JMHO
