I had the same issue on my RKC and it has ABS. I got a set of bars from the dealer. They called them "Tall Boys". Everything is about the same but moves them back an inch or two, maybe up an inch. I had to get new cables for ABS and clutch. I didn't want to do it myself so I had the dealership do it all. The ABS cable was pretty expensive as I remember it. Not sure but maybe 300 or so for everything.

1). Is there a service manual for the 09 touring line? (I can not find one)
Your dealer has them best 60 bucks I spent on the bike
2). Will I need longer clutch cable?
No you can lossen it up & disconnect it & then run it thru by the bars.
3). Is there enough slack in the front brake line?
Yes no problem
4). Can anyone recommend a handlebar that is 2 inches longer with the same width as stock but have a little less wrist angle?
I used the 2" pullbacks from HD worked great for my Street Glide
5). Will the TBW system be a problem?
There is a green connection inside the bars, Disconnect the wires from inside the fairing, push them as far as possible while pulling gently on the white plastic for the FBW. Just as the connection from the fairing runs out of wire you should see the green connection. Disconnect it.
5). How hard is this job?
The job is easy. Take your time. About 3 1/2 to 4 hours no working hard Just follow directions.

Thanks in advance
Email me at gmurdock@aol.com I have some info for you. I have an 09 Street Glide with ABS so things should be the same.

IMO, yes. That is one thing that I love about the khromewerks, they move your wrists out straighter.

Dawg, Which bar is most like the Heritage bars? Will Heritage bars work on an Ultra/SG without additional parts? Do the Kromewerks require additional parts? Thanks!

Heritage bars will not fit through the fairing because of the width of the fairing. They will work on road glides but not batwings. The khromewerks have a unique pullback bend to them so I would say the wild ones 575's are closer to heritage bars than khromewerks, but I love the khromewerks and they are a lot less expensive than the wild ones. HD's pullbacks are somewhat like the heritage bars, but the angle bothers a lot of people. As for additional parts, you would need a +3 clutch cable. I used the ones designed for sidecar models pn#38649-08

My bike is an 08 Ultra with ABS.

I only had to replace the clutch cable. I used the part number Dawg posted.

The Khromwerks bars are almost 35" wide and will give you the 2" up / 2" back.

The HD Touring bars have a steeper grip angle and are about 31" wide, they will also give you the pull back you want. Some folks don't like the grip angle on the HD bar.

For me, I prefer the HD bar and I'll be leaving them on.

If you are interested in the KhromeWerks Sweepers I'll send you mine for $50, they are in perfect shape.

Slab, do you have a picture of how you routed the clutch cable? I'd like to go with the Sweepers and would like to see how you kept the stock cable. Did you change your brake lines or throttle cable? Pic's if you have them.

Hi guys,

I just got up this forum, and read a lot of useful information ...

But I would like to ask for your help. I'm looking at various websites of bikes customization but I'm not finding what I need.

I bought a 14'ape hanger for my Road King Classic 2010. And now I need to buy the cables (Clutch, ABS brake, cruise control, etc). My intention is to buy all plug and play, to avoid cuts, welds and solders ....

At all websites of customization, just found the kits for bikes without ABS ... And my Road King has ABS, cruise control, electronic throttle and ...

Can you me indicate one (or ones) website where I can find these kits to buy?

Thank you in advance,

Cheers.
