I see your point. i'd also ask why don't they just call Black Pearl - Gray?

That's how you make something out of a nothing. Vivid black sounds better to most than just plain ole black.

Well... Black is THE Fastest Color.... So making you say Vivid Black Slows you down enough that others can hear you !!

Vivid black is much more blacker than regular black.
