Want a new set of mufflers. Long story short, I am not very happy with my Pythons and we will leave it at that. Way to quiet for me, so if anyone is looking for a set let me know. Let's move on. Already have a set of power duals on my SG and looking for a great set of mufflers. I have narrowed it down to Rineharts, Bassanni Megaphones and Thundercones for now. I already know the Thundercones will be the loudest, but which ones will follow them. I think the fit and finish will be better on the Bassanni and Rineharts, but between those two which ones will produce more power and noise. Let me hear some responses. And yes, I already know call Jamie at Fuel Moto. I however already screwed up because I have a FP and I really don't think Vance and Hines will have a map for the FM mufflers. I will not make this same mistake again.
Bassanni Megaphone vs. Rinehart SLIPONS. I ALREADY KNOW THE TRUE DUAL FOR 08 AND BELOW ARE GREAT, THIS IS FOR AN 09.
I think Rineharts have the best sound, but that is just my opinion. I run the tailgunner. They don't sound as good as the Rineharts, but they are pretty cool for me to watch (after turning the bike off) and keep my ADHD mind busy. LOL
i dig my rineharts, when me and my buddies go riding, one of them will mention, man i dig the sound of those rineharts, ya just gotta love them. they just got that thump that almost touches the soul. they can be loud or quiet, depending on your right hand. plenty stereo friendly. but they can roar when you turn her loose. i've had rineharts on my last three harleys, when i find something that works, i stick with it. my opinion.

Like I said before I know the RH TRUE DUAL sounds great, my question is about the Slip on and the slip on only. I hope everybody was referring to the slip on. I agree the RD true dual is one the best sounding systems out there, but I have read multiple threads about "09 exhaust" where guys with 08 and below true duals are advising 09 owners "get the RH true duals". Problem is, they don't fit, slip ons from RH is the only thing that will fit an 09 bike.
I went with Python slip ons for 2 reasons. I like the sound (they have a nice bark when you get on them) and everybody I ride with has RH mufflers. I wanted something different.
