I'm wondering the same thing as the OP. What is the difference between the Sundowner and the Comfort Stitch seats? I'm 5'9" and ride an 07 RG. The stock seat is great compared to other stockers, but I'm looking for more comfort for me and the wife. I don't want a reworked seat at this time, nor do I want a backrest, or an aftermarket seat at this time either. One note is I don't really want to be moved up or forward too much.
Looking for specific differences between these above two seats only.
I really appreciate your input. Not trying to hijack, just bumping.
Your seat is only the cherry on the top of the cake! If you want to be more comfortable you have to start underneath the cherry. Talk to Howard at Motorcycle Metal, one of HDF sponsors, and get yourself some much better quality rear shocks. When you have sorted out the chassis then take another look at your saddle, if you need more comfort.
