Demo Days in NC Today...2010 SE to ride!
HD had the ole Pete longnose and accompaniement at Outer Banks HD in Elizabeth City , NC today. I rode to Barry's Walnut Island Bike Show, then to the Outer Banks with a friend for lunch at the Black Pelican then up to EC to demo the new bikes. Got there in time for 2 rides, First was a 2010 SE Softail Convertible. While I wouldn't buy one of these (not my cup of joe) it was a BLAST to ride. Loads of power in this little package. At one stop light, it was apparent that the front wheel would easily lift off the ground without much prompting! Next I rode the SE Ultra in Red and Black. While this was a nice bike too, it made me even happier to have bought my 09 Road Glide. The SE engine had plenty of power in OEM form and gave me a few ideas of where to go next when my 09 is out of warranty,...hehehe. My buddy rode the Denim Black Road Glide Custom and a SE Fat Bob. Sure was nice of the MOCO to have all those SE bikes avalable to ride. I love riding different bikes without haviung to listen to any sales spiel...There were SE Softails, SE Street Glides and SE Ultra and even an Ultra Limited. If we had been eariler we could have ridden them all. I'll load some pics up here as soon as I get them on my server...
