I know, damn exhaust threads.. I'm looking to hear from anyone that has heard both systems. Ive read lots on here and tried to listen to sound clips but looking for someone that can give a comparison. Any info on the sound is appreciated. Looking for the deeper low end grumble, less of the tin can up high and of course instant 34hp/tq gain.
I don't know about the hp gain but I have had both Rinehart and now BUB 7 true duals. In my opinion you always won't what you don't have on a Harley. I had Rinehart and wanted the 2-1 system. Bought it and hated the sound and the look. Bought the BUB 7's to replace it. I loved my Rineharts but did not wont to spend the $$$'s on them. I also wanted all crome and not a black tip anymore. I love the sound of the BUB 7's much more than the Rineharts. They both sound good the 7's just sound that much better to me. They have more of a low rumble to me. They are also louder. I know what the website says but it's true. I sold the Rinehart's to a friend and I did a side by side somparison. You cant go wrong with either one. This is just my opinion.
I have the Rineharts on mine, one of the guys who works with me has just about the same bike as me and he has the Bub7's. We compared them side by side a few weeks ago... mine are surely louder! His are deeper and growly... they both sound great S&RSGLIDE said! I love the way mine sound especialy at wide open... honestly dont think I have heard a better sounding Harley exhaust than the Rineharts, however the reason there is about a kazillion exhaust threads on here is because everyones ears are different... so good luck and hope you find what your looking for! Cheers!
Had them both. Rinaharts are a little louder but the Bubs have a slightly lower tone. Both have a real nice bassy "thump thimp thump" to them though. Can't go wrong with either IMO.
I have the Bub 7 TDs and have a friend with a RG with Rineharts. The Bubs are definately a DEEPER sound and IMHO louder too, but that may be the difference between my TDs and his slip ons too.
