? on Tour Pack
I have and 09 road king i wanna buy a used tour pack for. if i pick one up for 08 and earlier think it would be difficult to mount on the 09 mounting hardware? has anyone done this?

Its my understanding that any late model tourpak shell is basically the same the differences being the ultra tourpak lights and color and pin stripes, plus the different style backrest pad which is also separate purchase, but the shell should all be the same and bolt right up to the 09 attach bracket, even if not its only a matter of drilling four holes in the bottom plate and mounting. I even think the old ones where still the same other than they were made out of a different type of material. I was looking to buy a used tourpak for my 09 vivid black SG and finally just ordered oned from Zanottis becuase by the time I found a used one and shipped and painted it and purchased the mounting hardware for the 09 I was not much difference in price. If you found a local one from and 08 that should work fine for you. I think my price for the vivid black tourpak shell from Zanottis was $574. Good Luck!
