have an 05 ultra that i want to install detach kit for tour pak so i can use bike as solo (when i buy seat) and with a standard height sissy bar. please review my list below and let me know if i have all the parts.
docking hardware kit - 53803-06
tour pack relocate mount - 53303-07
light harness kit - 70113-08
sissy bar - 52933-97B
14x9 mustang bar pad - to match mustang seat - 76572
My 53303 had the 53803 in it from HD It came as a total kit exc the wiring harness.Tell me what you do with the CB as it is on the rack that u will replace.Give yourself 4 hours. Its worth it. Send mean email to nashvilleplatingservice@gmail.com and I'll shoot u a pic or tow. Also my tour pak only had 3 holes andthe new tube rack requires 5 so drill baby drill. Good luck,Ron
moving my post back to the 1st page.....i know there was a write up about this listing all the parts, but in all my searches i can't find it. so, it's saturday and all the guru's are here this am to help me....have at it.
HD doesn't offer an Ultra-specific kit for '08 and older Ultras as they do for the '09 and newer. The unresolved issues for the '08 and older Ultras are the CB antenna, passenger headset connector, and speaker/passenger controll wiring. UK's thread addresses these.
If you don't mind giving up the CB when the tour pak is off the bike, UK's thread will do the trick. The parts list in the OP is all that's necessary.
