Brake light lit up

Help... Rear brake light is lit and won't go out. Need to know where to start looking and any ideas. '06 Road King Classic, black, 36,000 miles F.I. Tons of fun

Two places to start......first is the brake switch in the front brake lever, second is the brake switch down by the exhaust. Did you do any work on the bike that involved the front brake lever?

Like Dawg said, check the front brake switch. If you even loosened the master cylinder mount clamps you could have messed up the position of the switch in relation to the lever. Make sure the clamp and the switch housing are flush together. If that doesn't work, pull of the top switch housing cover and take a peek. Make sure the little brass wedge is in between the switch housing wall and the switch.
