Dude, WTF!!! 94 posts and you've got issues??? Go somewhere else. This is a great forum with great info and great folks. Sure if you are a bone head or post a stupid thread or reply you'll get flamed, just like in real life situations but FTMP you get what you give. Don't try to control what we do, heck that's why I ride to begin with. JMO!
I gained Prospect status the other day, can I make a few requests? Or, should I be more demanding like the originator of this thread? Dang, things are so confusing to us n00bz. I just want to know about MY bolt size and MY weights. Don't care about yours.
Speaking of opinions, that's what the guy wants instead of technical info. Me thinks there has been an invasion from the BMW Forums. That's it, isn't it? Yer like a KGB spy sent to see if you can disrupt our life and style. I'm NOT going to Gulag!
This site is REDO every day. You can find a thread on about any topic you like. If everyone used the search funtion all the time and found what they needed it would be a pretty boring forum.
Personally I don't care if people use the search function. It's nice to hear from new peoples on all old AND new topics. It's what makes a forum a forum. Otherwise it would be Harley-WikiPedia... nice for homework, not so great for human interaction eh?
And as far as dumb threads... you take the good with the bad. Too easy to understand.
I know that I am faily new here and have really enjoyed both reading your posts/threads and as well I have also learned a great deal.
Before I post a question here, I do a forum search and internet search becaase the vast majority of answers to these questions can be found in a matter of minutes.
I would like to see the forum focus on more opinions as to what's good in the Harley world, what's bad in the Harley world (pics are great) and what's new in our world. I have already grown tired of so many questions about "what size is this bolt", how much does this weigh?" PLEASE research your questions and then if you can't get answers, then this is the place to come.
Most here have forgotten more than I will know but I think that as a motorcycle enthusiast, it's my responsibility to at least try and find my own answer!!!

Well, welcome aboard new guy. I see your point, I mean, it's not like the site is free. You gotta pay some evil electric company for the electricity to SEARCH the site. And filter through the nonsense to get the information YOU want. You've only been here 3 months, but apparently, you are the solution to a non-existant problem. You must be a community organizer. You are clearly ready, willing and able to organize this HD community right into shape....Try and get ACORN onboard, it'll be great, underage hookers for everyone!
What was the question again? Oh yeah, I found a bolt in my driveway, will I lose horsepower without it?
I did a full search and still can't figure out which oil works best, which exhaust sounds best, how to put air in my tires or where to buy a damn dick lock. I can't ask my local dealer because they are idiots. This forum is my only hope! Asking and answering stupid and redundant questions is not only a forum priviledge, it's a right!
