1HarleyGuy1, as you can tell it is not hard to get a response on about any subject or question asked, you will get flamed for being a DH or even for being a nice guy. I hope you dont get offended and go away, I am truely enjoying reading your post and all the responses to it.

Before I post a question here, I do a forum search and internet search becaase the vast majority of answers to these questions can be found in a matter of minutes.
I would like to see the forum focus on more opinions as to what's good in the Harley world, what's bad in the Harley world (pics are great) and what's new in our world. I have already grown tired of so many questions about "what size is this bolt", how much does this weigh?" PLEASE research your questions and then if you can't get answers, then this is the place to come.
Most here have forgotten more than I will know but I think that as a motorcycle enthusiast, it's my responsibility to at least try and find my own answer!!!

from what i've observed there is a lot of information in here on just about any topic concerning harleys. sure there are the reoccurring questions like, how many streetglide owners are there, baggers what's your age, or what kind of boots should i wear, etc. but for the most, they are genuine questions about maintenance, parts, modifications, performance, safety, and the list goes on. i am very happy to have stumbled into the forum, and have established a few valued friendships with people who have a common interest. there is obviously a huge knowledge base here, that we would not otherwise have access to. for me, i'm very glad that this forum exists. for those who are disappointed or annoyed with this forum, if you find a better one, please let us know about it. whoever it is who established and maintains this forum, a huge "THANK YOU". you did all of us here a great service. good job guys.

I"m sure practically everything has already been discussed at one time or other so, with that said, there should never be any new threads on here, including this one.

In this short post I beleive almost every aspect has been mentioned except BOOT MAGNETS!!! I bought a set of the heavy duty ones, but need some help. They attached my boots to my steel desk and I've been trapped here for days. Too far under the desk to reach, too embarassed to ask someone to crawl under there and unlace my boots. Besides, what would people think if they saw an engineer kneeling under my desk? Hey, there's an idea, I'm going to call one of the secretaries (sorry, administrative assistant)!!

I'll have to do a search, but I think HD just voided your warranty.
