To the OP.
Here is a definition of a internet forum.
Source-Wikipedia
Note: nowhere in its definition does it say anything about "searching" being a component of a forum. Or starting new thread to an old redundant topic.
"An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site.[1] It originated as the modern equivalent of a traditional bulletin board, and a technological evolution of the dialup bulletin board system.[2][3] From a technological standpoint, forums or boards are web applications managing user-generated content.[3][4] People participating in an Internet forum may cultivate social bonds and interest groups for a topic may form from the discussions."

of all the forums in the world, why would anybody pick this one to try "splain" to the members the proper way to do anything.......or do anything they don't wanna do..... that forum can be found at www.northamericangoldwings.com
O.K. now you're not a new guy anymore 1harleyguy1 you've been initiated....good looking scoot....ride safe!!
This is I think, the best Harley forumn out there. I can't compare to other forums since I don't have a triumph, jap bike or something else but as far as forumns are concerned, it doesn't get any better than this. There are a lot of people with a lot of knowledge here that has been invaluable to me and others along with the occasional wtf posts that provide some amusement. I don't read all of the posts and never will if it's not something that I am interested or concerned about. Same goes for everybody I'm sure so why let it bother you? Chill and enjoy or better yet, go riding. That's what it's all about.
where is that post? I could use the search area, but this much more fun and anyway anytime I use the search button all it tells me is what size bolt it is and what kinda oil I use. LOL
Kruzer,
Nice avatar, I'm surprised that you have not been busted by the mods.
My other hobby is diesel performance, more specifically Dodge Cummins performance. The forums I'm used to are hard core and focused on technical issues mostly. I was terribly frustrated when I first started to view hdforums because of all the non-technical bs that's here. Chrome this, chrome that, etc. I craved PERFORMANCE related talk and couldn't find enough of it.
As stated earlier, it is what it is. I'm now happy to be here and read what I want to read. Skip over what you don't like. And learn to use the search feature. Sometimes you have to be smarter than the server when it comes to your search subjects.
