Lot more of that "See clerk for receipt" stuff going on around here the last few months. I had'nt thought of that as a way to get someone in the store to buy other stuff. What two convenience stores here don't realize is that they have already lost my business for repeated instances of this BS.
I hate when that happens then I go in and see a line at the register and when it is finally my turn I see the attendant looks a little off so I really lay into him about how lazy he is for not fixing the printer on the pump.
My brother works at one of those gas stations and is mentally challenged. You can not really tell by looking at him. He stays after he punches out to clean the lot and empty the trash and he comes in early to sweep and mop the store before he clocks in everyday. He once drove 20 miles to deliver a dropped wallet to the owners house. He was made fun of for years until now. He now has respect from every local and the last person who called him stupid at work did not think the big guy behind him was going to get involved. Next time the machine does not give you your little useless paper think twice about yelling at the attendant. The can you save by just going in and nicely asking for what you need just might be yours.
Ever see the little kid in the car next to you smile and wave at you? If he only knew how much of a lazy d-bag some of you are he might just give you the finger next time. This applies to those who are just way to busy for lifes little glitches.

I never get gas receipts. Don't care about gas mileage. And yeah, I pay at the pump because I don't want to wait in line in the store. I have to hurry up and get back to posing.
This is why in other countries, like Philippines, you need a college degree to even think about finding a job. You get first class service even at McDonald's and KFC (which they have) If you drop out there you are guaranteed to be poor. Our Mc-job workers here aren't even thankful for what they have and it shows even at the pump.
The reason for having a person come in to get a receipt is to get them inside the store. That way they can buy a bottle of pop, package of twinkies, etc..

Hit the nail on the head.... You can tell them you will report there sneaky way of getting you in the store... also if it (and it almost always is) some foreign Muslim, ask where the PIG SKINS are then go into a lengthy conversation on the texture taste and how you disguised them and gave them to your nice Iranian neighbors and they thought they were deliscious... the next time you get gas at the pump you'll get your receipt.
you guys must really be in a hurry to get back on your bikes and pose for everyone. good god is it all that big a ting to lose what ..one minute get to get a reciept? i have always taken my time when riding.....its not the destination its the journey ,,, i think some of you forget that
I try to ride anytime I can. Alot of it is just for transportation. If going to work is a "journey", wow, I guess I've got one fascinating machining center at work. And yes KopperTop, we are that ****. It's called OCD.
