True duals question - good performing QUIET option??

I did the V&H headers with the Rush slipons with 1.75 baffles. It did sound pretty good, and once I put the Big City thnuder baffles in the headpipes it performed good too. But was too loud, with a snappy edge to the sound. I tried the Bub 7 True duals, and the sound was nicer, deeper tone, less edge to it, but even louder on the gas. So I switched to the 7 Stealth mufflers still using the 7 headers and I love it. More bottom end than either of the other setups, and I'm not disturbing the peace.

man i fought this same fight....took me little time to change my mind once i put a Fatcat on...i ran and extensively experimented with V&H true duals...ran several different cans...best sound and performance on a true dual was with Rush and 2" baffles....i'm even gonna run em on the BryceBike....but if you would just open your mind, i promise you'll LOVE a D&D fatcat...i figgr'd i'd add the ghostpipe but it runs and sounds so good, i've come to love it...bet you do too
