Default True duals question - good performing QUIET option??

Looking into true duals and slip ons...... Is there a "quiet" option that still gives fairly good performance?? (I plan on doing the 103 stage II kit or something similar).

I know 2:1 pipes are better, but on a bagger I like the idea of 2 pipes at the rear.

Thanks

I have had RH true duals & D&D 2-1. D&D best by far. Get D&D w/Ghost Pipe for dual pipe look & 2-1 performance. They also offer a "quiet" baffle. I haven't heard it but I'm sure someone on here has. I just use standard baffle. If you plan on doing 103 no sense not to put on best performing exhaust. I'll probably get heat for saying but I'd put my money toward something else other than 103. I had a 110 SE & unless your doing it for status or racing your not going to get enough bang for your buck. My opinion only. Good luck.

Monster Ovals #1 in my opinion.

V&H dresser duals and Rush slip-ons. You pick the baffle size to the "sound" you want. From 1.5" quiet to 2.5" loudest.

I have Samson true dual pipes with S&S ovals on my S&S 107. If they are not quiet enough, there is an add-on baffle to reduce noise further. IMHO stock they are muted rather than quiet!

I have the Rinehart TD. Could not be more pleased. Good quality. Sound is great and not distracting.

So far this thread is a celebration of America; everyone has a different favorite and they're all good. I love it.

I have the Vance&Hines Dresser Duals and the National Cycle Peacemaker slip-ons.
I love this setup, when you want silence you just push a button and there you have it.

I vote for V&H dresser duals with Supertrapp internal disc series mufflers.
