I am telling you...Liquid ice lasted 1 year... 20k miles a years...maybe some black to black or doc baileys first but the liquid ice seals it right in...
I have to disagree.
My inner fairing is not to bad,but the instrument covers are more faded.I use "Son Of A Gun" and all it does is make the plastic shiney.
It does not restore the faded black.
I think once plastic is faded,thats it.No way to put the color back in unless it is a coating like paint.
Even anodized aluminum can fade.The only way to put the color back in would be to strip and replate.
All I know is after a year of parking in the sun, I noticed my inner was turning white. I used the Son of a Gun and it looked like new.

Warranty replaced my inner fairing due to fading along the top edge above the speakers on my '08 Ultra. Had it painted to match when it came in and dealer installed it. Check my other thread-just posted it
