This question may have been asked before.
Will a late model 88-B run on E85 ethanol gas?

Thanks in advance

Sure it will run, check your owner's manual for fuel recommendations. I use 91 or higher.

If it runs in most cars I don't see why it wouldn't run in a bike. However I wouldn't want to be the first one to try it..and I'm sure I'm not..

My manual specificlly says "do not run fuel containing ethanol" ,..."ethanol burns hotter than gasoline,..and may cause the engine to run abnormally hot". Also recommends to use 87 octane fuel for the same reason,...higher octane burns hotter,...not good for air cooled!

-----not good for air-cooled engines..........

You cannot run E85, but you can run E10...

Harley-Davidson
"Gasoline/ethanol blends can be used in your motorcycle if the ethanol content does not exceed 10%… 'Reformulated gasoline' is a term used to describe gasoline blends that are specifically designed to burn cleaner than other types of gasoline, leaving fewer 'tailpipe' emissions. They are also formulated to evaporate less when you are filling your tank. Reformulated gasolines use additives to 'oxygenate' the gas. "Your motorcycle will run normally using this type of gas and Harley-Davidson recommends you use it when possible, as an aid to cleaner air in our environment."

I don't know if I would trust it as much as good ol' gasoline, but HD will not void your warranty
