Default Plastic Ignition Indicator Removal

Anybody know how to remove that little piece of plastic under the ignitition switch on an Ultra?

You have to disassemble the switch housing!!!Pain in the ****!Just broke one last night,thinking it just snapped in place![:@]

Thanks,i'm in limbo right now because bike is going to the shop for some new apes and internal wiring,and i'm adding the HD cruise control kit.Now the kit has the black housing with that lil cover that i broke off.The chrome housing's i bought didn't come with the cover and i might have the wrong set,because i dont need the slot for the audio button just the cruise res/set on the right side and the cruise on off on the left switch.
I would get the shop manual.I believe you just remove the three screws thats visible.
The cruise kit comes with the standard switch housing and i was tinkering with them off the bars!

You need to remove the Ignition switch housing. Not a big deal unless you do not have the manual. After that it snaps in/out but you do need to be a little careful lest you bust the ears. Had mine out when I did my inner fairing
