Default Street Glide Thought
The 09 and 10 SG ride a little harsher (IMO) than the other standard shock length touring bikes. Do you think the SG would be improved in the ride with standard length shocks?

Yes it would , there is 1" more travel available making a total of 3 inches!

I think the 17" and 18" front rim add to the rough ride, lower profile tire is harsher. I noticed on my 2010 you feel when an ant farts as you drive by but dam it looks good don't it!

The '09 and '10 Ultras also have a firmer ride than earlier models.

I traded shocks with my friend's new Road King. My bike definitely rides better, but it's still harsh compared to '07-'08 bikes. Two-up, it's freakin' perfect! Amazing dampening when carving turns fully loaded. HUGE improvement over the older bikes...
