Hi Guys,
I have a new '09 Street Glide and I want to bring up the ride height to make it the same as an Electra Glide. Can someone tell me the difference in shock length between the two and if there is any difference in the front suspension length. The OE shock on my bike measures 12" between mounting bolts. I was thinking about a set of Progressive 416 shocks unless someone has another suggestion. I'm new to Harley so I really appreciate any advise I can get.
marc i have an 09 electraglide with less than 1k. i might swap you fork tubes as i would like to lower my front end to run a 20in front tire. i think the sg set about 3/4 in lower than the eg. thanks
just the rear is lowered. You can buy standard length shocks for a EG and you will be good
Thank you! Do you happen to know the difference in length between the SG and EG shock? I checked the front yesterday and you are correct, it is the same height as the EG.
