V&H Classic Slash-cut

V&H Classic Slash-cut
Guys, does anybody know if the Classi Slash-cut slip-on V&H muffler (V16719) can be installed on a 2008/2009 Road King Classic with stock mufflers. A person had told me it wont fit, also the V&H 2009 catalog says it is for 95-08 bikes. I contacted V&H by email about 1 month ago, but until now got no response.
My other option is the Oval.

Are you shure they wont fit on 2009 models (the catalog says "95-08"!)? Just because "bigskyhd" said that it will.

I think you mean "will it fit with the stock header pipes?" You can pretty much rest assured if the V&H Catalog says it'll fit... that it WILL indeed fit. These guys are pretty meticulous. You shouldn't have any problems. The monster ovals are nice as well, and that's the direction I'm headed next. Good luck.
The monster ovals have a little bit lower sound correct? But comparing with the ovals, wich one will give me a headache after 4 hours of road at constant 3500 rpm?

Sorry, I don't have a sound bite but I have been thru several sets of slip ons, modified stocks, SE touring, V&H basics, Rush and finally hit the mark with the V&H Classics. You should consider the turn down tips imo, the sound coming off the pavement is perfect. If someone says they will fit I'd believe them.
