Quick question for ipod use

Clarification on question
Sorry for the confusion, but what I need is to take the audio output from the sound system(the female plug on the gas tank) and connect it to my earphones that have a 3.5 mm male plug on them. Male on the HD side and female on earphone side........
I would like to listen to the HD radio going to work on my earphones. Traffic reports and all that boring stuff.

This J&M cable would do that, but it's overkill. Why not ditch the earphones and get a decent set of helmet speakers that plug into HD comm port?

Thanks for the help, but did I read that correct? Is that cord really a 100. bucks!? I tried the helmet speakers, but with the road noise I had to turn it up so loud that it was obnoxious. That's why I am looking for the adapter for my earphones...........

Earbuds and Headsets
I just seen your thread so its probably to late. But I have a set of earbuds that work great and have the 7 pin din for the harley plug. I got them from www.FreeRideMotoSports.com they work great and were pretty cheap. I also have there behind the neck headset which is much cheaper and they work pretty good really good if I compare prices with HD
