The other day I saw a parked Goldwing that had a gold plated plaque in the shape of the United States with an outline of the states engraved on it. The guy was putting a little dot to mark each state that he had traveled. I would like to do the same but searches on the internet have drawn a blank.
Great idea. I'll check with one of the local camper places arrounf here. I just found a chrome plated one on a website that sells Goldwing products but I want gold if I can find it.
A Jap bike needs a map of Japan! They need to show their loyalty to where they spend their dough. The most ridiculous thing I see is clowns running American flags on Jap bikes. Toyota pickups with flags and slogans on the bumper telling you of their patriotism is a real hoot. If I had ever riden home on a Honda when I was a kid, my WWII submariner dad would have kicked my ***. He fought for the country depicted on that map. The makers of that Honda fought to destroy it. I am proud to say that I've never thrown a leg over a Honda out of respect for his memory. Better a sister in a whorehouse than a brother on a Honda!
Some will say Winging the USA but he'll put whatever you want, most get Touring the USA...
