Will not go back to the "standard" mirrors. They are out of the way on the fairing, work as well as the other mirrors and look good.

Just got my SG and like the look of the stock mirrors. I do see a bit of my hands in them but I just pushed them out as far they would go, they do offer a good bit of visibility. Now I'm coming off an 883 Iron that only had one 3" round mirror (flipped) on the right side, LOL. As mentioned above, prob the best way to tell is a SG demo ride.

Same here but I'm considering the Kuryakyn Blind Spot with the integrated LED turnsignals. I think they mount further out than the stock FHLX and they have another big plus .......... they're chromed. <g>

Default Mount them out and up..

I put on a pair of blind spot mirrors on my Ultra and followed the template to a tee. I recommend mounting them up and out a quarter inch.

I read that of 1/4 Inch would help also. I'm going to head down to the stealer and see a FLHX

They are fine on my SG. They work as well as my standard mirrors did on my Softail and I like the clean look of having them on the fairing.

I am 6' 0" and I loved them with my stock bars.

However when i added 13" apes, they became useless.

I put them on a 2000 FLHT and didn't like them and took them off a '99 FLHT for the same reason. I guess it has something to do with wide shoulders. A lot of folks, obviously, like them though.
