IMO it is too much like the Gold Wing, Victory and BMW concept were the fairing, bags and trunk all flow together. I like the traditional look of the Harley Tour Pak. I also don't think a "flowing " trunk will fit the overall look of the bike if the bags aren't modified to somehow match the look of the trunk.

you are not gonna gain any usable storage... it would be cosmetic at best. what about a seperate storage box the fills the space under the tourpac, between the fender and rack? locakable. waterproof. drop down plate holder to acess the compartment. be good for tool bags and parts...

All good feedback, I thinkt that a small pod on the lower leg gaurds would look really, really nice! That is something we have been throwing around the shop for awhile now but knowing is half the battle. So there may possibly be something here in the near future with that as well.

The big deal for me is the weight of the MOCO tour pak, what is it 35-40 lbs? If someone could come up with a light weight tour pak, quick disconnect etc. then you have something. There has got to be some space age materials that are much lighter than the composite/whatever the MOCO uses.
