Will the 09 Touring Models be in demand?New frame without the cat.converter.

 

Exhaust is an easy change. That alone won't make it more in demand. I think the 09 Street Glides and Road Glides will be a little more desirable than the '10 models. In fact if I was looking for either I would be looking for leftover 09 models really hard.

 

I'm thinking the Touring 09's in Black Pearl will be in demand. 1st year of the new frame and other improvments and last year of the Black Pearl. But then..... I might be slightly biased in my opinion.

 

I agree. I have been thinking about buying another RG, an '09 for that very reason. I have heard lots of good things about the new frame and I love the Black Pearl paint. Also, I don't like the '10 Roadie and after that their gone.

 

Just traded my 07 RG in Black Pearl for an 09 Red Hot Sunglow. I found the Black Pearl dies when it's not newly cleaned and in the sun... to dull for me.

As far as rideability, the 09 is much more refined and the change in gearing makes the transmission much better. I thought it was a good trade and I got a hell of a discount to boot!!

 

plus one, the red sunglo just pops where as the black pearl is trying to pop but doesn't...great choice

 

Hey I totally agree with you guys. The Red looks great and really glad to hear that you guys like your Red color. I think everyone should paint their bikes Red so their bikes can POP!!. That red is awesome!!! Me, I'll just have to live with my boring and dull Black Pearl. I can't afford to paint my bike red. Oh well, I'll get through it somehow.

 

Now we all know Candy Rootbeer is the color lol

Now your talking that VIVID black is real vivid, not too boring if you keep it waxed you can always see different reflections of things, like a new paint job everyday. it's all a matter of preference
