How much louder is the SE slip on than stock, Smokey?
I'd say they are not much louder, However thay do have a bark when you get on it. If I had to rate the pipes with my Rineharts on my 04 roadking being a 10 for loud and my stock muffler on the SG being a 1... I'd give these a 3 or 4. I was not going for loud with this bike as I have that with my King!
He said that my 2010 was close to lean as stock.
So if I added either the slip-on or an a/c I'd need a retune.
He recommended doing botht he slip-on and a/c and then doing the stage 1, which changes the fuel curve adn gives you a bit more over bolting the parts on and running lean and running the engine hot and maybe damaging it.
Got the same story from a bike machinc I know.
But the tuners can have good tunes for your parts, but a dyno tune will squeeze every HP/TQ they can.
But you need to be sure they actually know how to tune and set you up correctly.

Here's a good question, the dealer said that if I went with Fuelmoto's PC-V tuner, that I may run into warranty issues if I ever have engine problems.
Anyone heard of this?
Or are they just wanting to charge me for the dyno time, plus SE tuner.

Not sure which SE muffler you have but I have the 4" SE Touring Muffler and they really start sounding good around 1500-2000 miles. The will get much deeper sounding and also a little louder, for me they are perfect.
I put on the SE slip on and was told by my dealer no DL or fuel mods were necessary. Don't know if that changes with the a/c. He said that the new O2 locations provide better measurment and correct for an lean condition the SE slip on would. create. The SE slip on does not indicate any need for DL, and you'd think it would. Looks like I need to ask some more questions.
By the way, sound is much better than the new 2 into 1 stocker, but far from loud.

Thanks for the info, that is exactly what I wanted to know and that is what I want to do on my RGC... I also had rineharts on my 04 RK and I don't want anything that loud on the RGC because I want to be able to enjoy the cd player which I never had on a bike before, its nice.
All in all it seems to be a great setup for short money. The quality of the pipe is excellent as I believe it is made by supertrapp. Nice sounding and nice performance.
