I recently added the tour pack detach kit to my 09 FLHTC. Do you know if there is a license plate laydown bracket available that works with the detach setup?
I have 09 FLHTC also and would like to add the tour pack detach kit,is this a HD kit? What is the p/n. How much does it cost? Thanks for any help.
Thanks for the info I will be checking into this, did you put the kit on? By the way you bike looks bada$$ with the tour pack removed, that's the way i want mine to look when riding solo.Is that Zanotti HD in Butler.PA?. If you don't mind would you tell me what comes with the kit.

Reason: More Questions
I have a laydown bracket on mine and everything fits fine over top. I have the rack, but I believe its the same clearance underneth with the trunk or rack, besides that you have more clearance with the laydown
Kind of true.. but with the tour pack the cross member for the pack comes right across where the top of the plate is. You can still use the standard lay down but you will have to give it a bend backwards (pushing it towards the front of the bike) to give enough clearance. I used the old school tool 2 hands and some muscle and gently pushed it down a little more.

I just bought a HD laydown plate bracket for my 10 FLHTC, which has the detach kit. I'm hoping they say it doesn't fit because of the view. I don't want to bend anything, in case I don't like it.
