I'm thinking about changing my seating from a 2 passenger with luggage rack, to a solo seat with rear rack over fender.
What's the most recommended HD solo seat and rack for my 2005 RKC?
You can check the HD parts catalog, but I'm 99% sure that HD doesn't offer a solo seat/backrest set-up for pre-'09 bikes. HD has a solo w/backrest for '09 and newer bikes, but not for your '05.
Edit: My mistake as I thought you wanted a backrest since that's shown in the "wanted" picture.
Edit 2: Apparently the OP wants a solo with a backrest; so HD is out since they don't offer one.

I just searched HD online, and found that HD offers the same exact Sundowner seat that I currently have, but in a Solo version.
I will go with that seat.

You might be correct after all.
I do want the rider backrest, and I can't find one for the HD solo seat.
The one in the picture of what you want is the Mustang classic solo. I have one and love it. Mine has studs but they also come without studs. The backrest is wayy better than the HD backrest. I have had both
Ok you have been told about the seat, the luggage rack on the "want" bike is a harley rack, I am sure you can find it on their site, you should be able to use the mounting points that you use for the passenger backrest/luggage rack, a friend of mine has that rack and it is nice, and made heavy so it will hold whatever you put on it.
