I have the progressive as well, but added a additional $4,000 in coverage for accessories/add-on's to the policy. All the above are good advise, and you want a holster to hang on the bars that holds a Ruger Super redhawk 44 mag with a 9 1/2" barrel, lol make them really wonder if it's worth it

All good advise from everyone. But just remember one thing. Motorcycle thieves lift and carry the bike onto a truck or trailer. Four big muscular guys with two steel pipes is all it takes. It is best if you can lock the bike TO something. A traveling companion's bike is best, but if you're traveling solo finding something to secure the bike to could be a challenge. In any case, you'll need a tough lock and chain (or cable). Check this out. www.lockitt.com.

Paint it that green color that changes with different angles-leave it outside your room.Unless you are in Georgia no one will mess with it.

Good insurance, GAP protection from finance company (included when you finance with some companies, available from dealer at time of sale otherwise) to cover the dif between what ya owe and what it's worth in case it is ever stolen. That, or schmooze the front desk to let you park within view of a 24-hour occupied location. I now look at it this way...somebody steals it, and I get to go shopping. Not that I want that to happen, since I just got a new bike...just that I'm not gonna sweat it gettin' stolen. I use a disc lock, keep bags locked.

You can worry yourself sick, or buy good insurance. If a thief wants it, you can weld it to the floor and they'll get it.

Cover it, lock it, a don't worry.....

Have a great time, be safe!!
