Can't offer any experience about those true duals you are considering, but I can tell you its a big mistake wearing shorts when riding to the beach. What could happen out weighs the discomfort of wearing a pair of jeans over the shorts.

Jeans do not provide total protection, but are better than skin on road[&:]
Those Rineharts have to be one of the most ugly pipes in existence, stock pipes look fine and perform great with a good slip-on muffler, and I've never had a heat problem, why spend a fortune just to join the crowd?
You beat me to it Brucey Boy - I was thinking exactly the same thing when I read the original post. If you ride anything ATV, MC, Dirtbike, rollerskates, skateboard etc, etc - with anything but long pants you will soon find out why you should. Besides you should be keeping your pants on anyway
Take it from experience wear long pants regardless of the temperature, now onto the pipes... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - let me see I'm in the mood for pretzels so I'd go for the Bassanni all the way. If you want to be part of the herd then go Rienharts but be careful cause they start clipping sheep right around this time of year
I didn't get Reinharts because everybody has Reinharts. No question they make an excellent
product but EVERYONE has them. Isn't personalising your ride suposed to make your bike different?
I had a bike pull up next to me today with rineharts on it and it sounded real nice. Nice enough to make me think about getting them. Still want to see and hear the big shots first. It's going to be one of those two for me.
