I think (not sure) that the 2007's still had the 5 gallon tank used on the earlier models. When combined with the 96 inch motor the 5 gallon tank might affect the range you'll get per tank full, at least when compared with the 2008's and newer which have the 6 gallon tank. Not a big deal, but just something to be aware off.

Range would probably be reduced after makings mods with the ProCharger SC, true-dual exhaust (haven't decided on V&H or Reinhart), 211 cams, and Power Commander FMS to do something similar to the 96" 2007 at the following dyno:
I bought my 07 sg used, had 8000 miles now has 13000 . It came with tru duals, fuelpak, removeable back rest, and tons of chrome for 13,500. Best purchase I have made in a long time.

That's an excellent price for only 8,000 miles on an '07 SG! I'd be quite happy to find something similar. Most sales on 2007 SGs with less than 10,000 miles are over $16,000.
I have 10K on mine and havent had any issues with the whine or the tranny sounding like a box of rocks as was reported by many. I would be more concerned about the mileage, seems a bit high!
i would say its the other way around, yours seems a bit low. i've got 37k on mine, you're talking about a 3 year old bike, my average is 12k per year. that really isn't all that much if you ride everyday (that you can)

yes, the 07 has the 5 gal tank. so i stop for fuel when my odometer shows 150 miles or so. by that time, i don't mind giving my *** a break anyway.

For what its worth...KBB says an 07 Touring bike should have just under 16K on it....just sayin
I'm in trouble then. My 07 has 33,000 on it now. Two issues: inner primary bearing went bad at 32,000 miles ($387 repair) and a broken fairing brace. Other than that, I absolutely love this Ultra.
I bought mine in May of 07, have ridden 13,000 miles and my question is - what noise? I love my bike! Went on a 3100 mile trip last year. New Hampshire to Milwaukee. My only regret is that the trip wasn't longer. The Street Glide is an awesome ride!
