These instructions have some tips for baffle removal. Please let me know if you still can't get them out. A slide hammer helps if they are really stuck.

An alternative that makes it much easier to remove the baffles is to remove the mufflers from the scooter ... remove the retainer bolt(s) from the baffle ... place the outlet end of the muffler on a piece of wood and use a suitable object ( a piece of wood or an old broom handle ) to persuade the baffle. A few "love taps" will dislodge the baffle quickly.

This caught my eye.... I had to reduce the baffle size to assist in my new cam to increase back pressure..... I used WD-40, love taps with a steel pipe, more WD-40, more heat, more WD-40, more WHACKS..... nothing. The baffles were in there for 3-4 years.... with a cat head pipe. Must have welded together. Too bad. I love the sound, fit and finish of these 3 1/2" Rush slip-ons....
Is this a good excuse for new exhaust?

I have the 2.0 baffles also. The only reason I removed them was to pull the packing out. One came out easily, the other I used a pair of Channel locks. Just twisted the baffle back and forth. JR
