skydoc, do you think the pod really makes a difference in sound when going down the highway? I was looking to add that but with out a amp is it worth it? Very nice scooter. Ride safe.
No question, HogPod makes a dramatic difference on the highway combined with the updated 902.2's. Loud & clear with volume @ 50%, earplugs and loud duals. Oversized speakers/amp NOT required.

i have the Hog Tunes speakers and they were an improvement over stock but something was missing. i then added the Hog Pod it really made the system come alive. the Hog Pod has it's own crossover which also makes the speakers work better. i have stock mufflers and this setup sounds fine at 75+ mph and my wife even likes it now she says it sounds good to her when she on the back.
do these first two mods and if you're still not happy add the amp or even more speakers for my needs this is a good place to stop.
No question, HogPod makes a dramatic difference on the highway. I run wide open AVC with volume set @ 50% - earplugs and loud duals. Combo is ear piercing in the garage - absolutely no need for an amp.
Thanks for the info, I have the ARC speakers in the front and was looking at the POD but pretty spendy also thinking if you ever sold or traded the bike you would have to leave that on due to drilling.
I like the looks so that might be one of the winter mods. Ride safe
How do you like the V Stream compared to stock? Can you post a pic from the front and one from the side?
VStreamŽ simply outperforms any shield on the market, period. Well engineered, high quality, stylish product that functions as advertised with a fair price. Should be factory issue on all Glides!
"Other" shields with goofy up-flips don't compare.
$10 pair of Black Lycra bicycle shorts cut and stretched over the speaker mounting frames and held with 3M spray adhesive. Look good and completely transparent to the sound. Spend the $236 dollars on an amp and 6 1/2" speakers. Volume on 5 bars and AVC on 1 bar and it's LOUD and CLEAR at 80mph.

i have one of those other shields with the goofy up-flips and it works very well. i'm always looking for something better but after buying many parts over the years that didn't work as claimed i'm leery of purchasing another product with fancy marketing. what is the return policy if i'm not completely happy? thanks
