One thing i did notice is the HD dual controller is $100.00...and from what i can tell from the website it comes with the pouch. I get a discount from my dealer too so?? Unless i can find a deal from another retailer i will buy that one. Next buy is the insoles...I think they may be more comfy than the socks.

I have both...Harley gloves, harley pant liner, harley dual controller and gerbing custom sized hacket liner..all made by gerbing.. quality is the same

Wore them this past sat for a 400 mile ride which started in the mid 40's and became more cold with freezing rain. My friends laughed at me when I bought the gear, I laughed at them as they were bitching about being cold!

This is warmnsafe gear ?????? I was looking for the best price on GERBINGS. Not an off brand I've never heard of before.

I have the HD jacket liner, gloves and dual controler (made by Gerbing). My buddy has the same stuff from Gerbing.

HD gloves are bulkier, HD jacket does not have heated collar/neck, HD jacket has loose wires inside to connect to,

Gerbing has slimmer gloves, jacket has heated neck, jacket has bulkhead connector flush inside of jacket.

Again, I have HD but think Gerbing branded is better Quality.

To sum it up, I think HD went to Gerbing for heated gear, Gerbing made an offer to HD on good quality product, HD marked it up and decided it was too much. HD ask gerbing to cut some corners to get the price lower and thats what we have today. If you've never compared both side by side, you wouldn't know the difference.

I got some unexpected money from work and decided to use it for my heated gear. Went to the dealer and had to ask if they had any, it was not out yet. The guy went went into the back and brought out a dual controller, jacket liner, and gloves. I paid more for them than if I had ordered them on-line, but we had a ride Sat. and wanted to try it. I was worried about the gloves. I was told that they would be uncomfortable until they got broke in. Best money I have spent in a long time. I love the controller, and the gloves were just as comfortable as my old winter gloves. The temps were in the low forties but I stayed plenty warm. I would have been happy with ordering Gerbing, but did not see a dealer close to me. I paid more for the same thing because of where I bought it.

For those not informed, warm n safe is not an off brand. The controller Gerbings uses is a spin-off from Warmnsafe. I've owned both, prefer the Warm N Safe. Fit is better, warranty the same, gloves are not as bulky, gloves provide more heat. And did I mention Warm N Safe is cheaper? You get an extra discount if you belong to a motorcycle organization such as AMA or BMW Motorradd. Just say you belong to one and you'll get the best price.

As you probably already know Gerbings makes all the stuff foe Harley. But you get a better quality with more when you order directly from Gerbings, plus they have a killer warranty and customer service.
