my fresh 103 build and i have the same issue. i can't call it a problem at all though. when it does the pfttt pftt thing, i just lift up on the black top and it quits. i'm guessing that it's partly because the compression releases are new. and to me, it's not a big issue at all. like the other guys have mentioned, just blip the throttle or if it is too annoying it is easy to remove them and squirt a bit of lube/cleaner in them.

now you guys made me nervous. I have electric releases and if they stick i can just pull them out,they are under the rocker boxes.please tell me they dont stick as much

From what I read, there is no problem with the ACRs sticking open. But I have read about them coming apart completely and causing problems. uggest you do a search.
