Still waiting for my Ultra Limited to showup. Would owners out there confirm whether the 103 Ultra Limited has compression release installed from the factory.
Excellent - thanks! I guess I don't ahve to worry too much about the 255 cam then (not that it's much to worry about).
Unless YOU are putting 255 cams in the bike AFTER you buy it, you'd still have nothing to worry about. The bike comes with stock cams that are also found in the 96" motors. Just FYI incase you didn't know this already.
Did my own cams and big bore on my 2001 Fatboy (with a lot of help from a friend). Was thinking of doing the 255 cams myself if I can remember how. I hear it's actually easier now.
Nope - I think I gotta spell it out. I was replying to UltraKla$$ic concerning his comment

specifically I wanted to understand what he was getting at concerning who installs the cam (dealer or me, before or after I buy it).
In response to your (Dalton's) earlier post I answered with the following: "By all accounts the cams are the same as 96 cu engine " by which I meant the stock cams in a 2010 96 are the same as the stock cams in a 2010 103 on the Ultra Limited.
Sorry for the confusion.
