Default Street Glide lower fairing

Just wondering if anyone has installed a lower fairing on there Street Glide, Electra Glide std. etc and regreted it or thought it wasn't worth the money. Thinking about adding a set to my Christmas list.

Fo me, I like the look and it serves a great function. My Ultra is the first bike I've had with the lowers on, and I don't think I could go back now. Some probably think it would mess with the Street Glide's look, but I guess it's a matter of opinion.

I think that it would interfere with the air flow to your already hot runnin' hot 96" motor, and make it run hotter yet.

I love mine. Make sure you get the "vented" ones. I had them on my 08 and when I traded for the 09 I waited about a week to put them on, thinking maybe I didn't need them. The ride is so much more enjoyable with them on.

Buy them from Zanotti and save some money. They are pretty easy to install yourself.

I see you took off your engine guard too. I'd put that puppy back on.

Looks like he has the black mustache bars to me ;-). I bought some soft lowers for now, but I plan on getting some vented hard lowers, when money allows.

I like the looks of them but IMO they added more buffeting from under the fairing. I took a ride after I took them off my EGC before trading and noticed alot less choppy wind from under the fairing. Like I said that is just me and YRMV.
