I like them a lot now that it is cold. Quick detach kits is nice too. If I was to do it again I would buy the tour pack instead but now that is on order.
I added a set of vented lowers on my 06 FL Standard and really liked the look and performance.
I found a set local in the right color for $400.00 , ran them for 2 years , and sold them for $375.00 before I traded for the new bike.
The Ultra came with them , but I'd have gotten another set if it didn't...
I have the pouch thingies for each side door and use the heck out of them.

I bought an Eglide classic used. the prev owner had installed the hard lowers so it came with them. I like the looks with them on. Even when I took the Tour pack off I left the lowers on and still liked the looks. I took the lowers off once and hated it. On windy days it took alot of muscle to go from the highway pegs to the boards and the wind was always pushing hard on my legs.
I put the lowers back on and my riding comfort returned and it no longers looks like a fat chick with toothpic legs wearing shorts.
