I've had the Team Set for a couple of years. It's great for bluetooth directions from my Zumo, phone calls through the Zumo, & intercom between me & the wife. It has great battery life, but limited range for the intercom. That's not a problem since we're both on the bike.

A friend purchased the Q2's for himself & his wife. On a cross country trip this summer we got to compare the units. The other couple doesn't have GPS, so the directions, & music features provided by Garmin didn't apply to them. The Q2 has a built in FM radio for music/entertainment, but it's pretty clunky to use. The Q2 offers the ability to keep the intercom active & great range. Our friends could stay in touch quite a distance apart. He would pump the gas while she went into the cashier to pay &/or get the pump turned on, or one could stay with the bike while the other checked hotels/restaurants/etc. The down side of the constant communication is the impact on battery life. The Team Set is easily good for a 12 hour day, & with careful use may last two days. The Q2 in constant intercom mode seemed to be limited to about 10 hr. Another advantage for the Q2 is the capability for both parties to connect via bluetooth to their own cell phone. Assuming you want two cell phones bothering you on a ride............

If you never plan on talking bike to bike go with team set. From what I understand you have the ability with them to adjust vox sensitivity. With Q2 you can only turn it off and on. I have the Q2 and at highway speeds have found that I have to turn vox off so headset does not continuously turn on (with 3/4 helmet).

Got them yesterday and already installed.
They sound very clear just walking around. We will do a ride tonight with them to see how they are while riding.

Not sure if I like the MP3 quality. a little tinny. They are stereo where I thought they were mono.

The reception for the FM receiver isn't that great at the house but We are on the edge of town so I will test it better on the road.

I like being able to be on constant communication if I want.

Just a note, You need to use the adhesive mount on Arai full face helmets. The clamp will not work well.

I have the Teamset pair up with my Zumo 550 and my Motorola Rzar paired up with the Zumo.

The volume is way too low to use the phone about 55 mph. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't tried the 2nd headset yet nor listened to the Zumo commands through the Teamset so it may be my cell phone.

I just got they last week and haven't had time to troubleshoot it yet.

Thanks for any comments.

U need to raise the volume in ur zumo. There r 2 places where u need to raise the volume. One is through the bottons on the zumo and the other in one of the menus. The volume is pretty loud but then I have the Q2. The commands r lound and u can raise the volume as well from the cardo itself.

Do these support the Bluetooth A2DP protocol (stereo). iPhone now supports this so it would be great to be able to take advantage of this technology.

Unfortunately no. But according to cardo, the next edition will support A2DP
